There you go, your homemade scouring stone is already ready :-)

It's really simple, don't you think? With this, you will be able to clean your house effortlessly. Everything will shine instantly!

Note that to make the recipe, you can use one of the lids as a unit of measurement.

It is better to use the caps of the jars, rather than the jars themselves. Why?

Because it's much more convenient to use and no need to close it! In addition, you never know what to do with these caps:it will save you from throwing them away.

The paste that makes up the scouring stone must be very thick . A spoon must be able to stand upright in it.

If it is too runny or soft, you can add Blanc de Meudon to make it denser.

Usage

As soon as the stone is hard enough, it can be used. Simply dampen a sponge and rub it over the scouring stone.

In my opinion, homemade scouring stone is much easier to use and lasts longer than homemade scouring cream.

One could also use only powder, but the use is less practical than stone.

Personally, I use it to scrub everything from the bathroom to the kitchen:the stainless steel sink, the enamel bathtub or the plastic worktop.

Unlike pumice stone, Blanc de Meudon is a very fine powder that does not scratch what you clean.

Very practical for cleaning glass-ceramic or induction hobs without scratching!

The advantage of dishwashing liquid in the recipe is that it removes traces of grease at the same time.

This scouring stone can even be used to remove marks from terracotta tiles.
