Are children's stuffed animals dirty?
It is better to avoid putting them in the washing machine because you risk damaging them!
Yes, fabric toys and battery-operated ones can't get wet.
Luckily, a nursery nurse gave me her tip for sanitizing dry stuffed animals without using water.
The trick is to put the stuffed animal in a bag with baking soda . Watch:
1. Put the plush in a plastic bag.
2. Pour four tablespoons of baking soda into the bag.
3. Close the bag.
4. Shake the bag to evenly distribute the baking soda.
5. Leave on for an hour.
6. Take the plush out of the bag and brush it.
There you go, you have dry cleaned the plush using only baking soda :-)
The plush is now completely clean without using water!
This trick works for all types of toys:plastic, musical stuffed animals, bath toys or even dolls and cuddly toys!
