Need your Venetian blinds dusted?
Day/night blinds are very practical but they are real dust nests...
And it's a real hassle to clean, blade by blade.
Fortunately, there is a simple and effective trick to cleaning your slatted blinds.
The trick is to soak a cloth in household alcohol at 90° and fix it on a spatula . Watch:
1. Take a clean cloth.
2. Soak it in household alcohol at 90°.
3. Wrap the cloth around the spatula.
4. Secure it with a rubber band.
5. Pass the spatula over each slat of the blind.
There you go, all the dust accumulated on your slatted blinds is gone :-)
Easy, fast and efficient, right?
It's really cleaner like that!
This trick is effective for cleaning PVC or metal blinds, but not for wood or fabric blinds.
To clean slatted blinds faster, you can also get a brush with a microfiber cover, like this one:
The advantage is that you can easily remove and wash the cloth after dusting.
