How I Made Christmas Balls in 15 min!

Classic Christmas balls are outdated!

No longer very original and fragile, we are increasingly opting for playful, modern and innovative alternatives.

Here's a fun little trick with simple colored card stock.

BAFA animator in summer, DIY has become a way of life for me.

It's such a pride to realize everything yourself! For Christmas, my decoration is 100% homemade and economical! It's possible to make 10 Christmas balls in 15 minutes!

Material

Sheet(s) of more or less cardboard and colored according to your taste, 10 toothpicks, a ball of modeling clay, thread, a pair of scissors

How to

1. I cut 5 strips of 1cm by 10cm in a sheet of cardboard paper (red canson paper for me). I then superimpose the strips on top of each other.

2. I prick with a toothpick the 5 strips at the top then with the other end of the toothpick I then prick the 5 other ends at the bottom of the strips.

3. On the first end of the cure I attach a small wire to it, the loop of which I have already prepared. I then make two mini balls of modeling clay that I prick at each end of the toothpick so that the strips don't leak!

4. There you go, all you have to do is separate and space out the strips so as to make a pretty, original and very modern Christmas ball!

The first ball takes the longest to make. Once you've got the hang of it, you cut 50 strips at once and each ball can be made in less than 90 seconds

It is also possible to decorate its strips with rhinestones, stickers, markers, pearls or anything that can come out of your imagination! ! Come on, everyone to your scissors!
