The 6 Easiest Objects to Recycle.

Give a second life to items we no longer use! Here are 5 easily recyclable objects, which allow us to exercise our creativity and save money by avoiding new purchases.

1. The Scales

Old wooden ladders can become pretty shelves which will give a touch of originality to your decor. In the form of a bookcase or shelf for the kitchen, guaranteed effect!

In the garden, they form slightly retro decorative elements that are totally customizable.

2. Wooden Pallets

Bulky, they are difficult to store. So why not transform them in beds, headboards, and coffee tables that are easy to make yourself? They can even become a nice garden room or a cheap wooden cabin for our children.

3. Glass Bottles

They often end up, at best, in the glass recycling bin, or at worst, in the trash.

It is nevertheless possible to reuse them, as coasters, saucers and trivets (made by professionals) or as single-flower vases, perfect for holding a rose or other long-stemmed flower.

At our level, we can give them a second life by putting our product refills in them. (household items for example, but be careful to specify this on the label of the bottle to avoid accidents).

They are also pretty decorative elements to make yourself:the LED chandelier (note, explanations in English), candlesticks, or lamp bases.

4. The Jars

Let's also reuse the jars! In storage (for your pasta, rice, cereals, etc.), to be fixed under shelves as Bastien, our DIY specialist, has already suggested, or by decorating them with figurines to store small objects in the children's room as here .

5. Tin cans

There is no shortage of ideas for recycling tin cans. I'll list my favorites:

- fairy lanterns that create a magical atmosphere;

- flower pots, elegant, colorful and personalized;

- the funny pencil holder that children like so much!

There are dozens and dozens of other ways to use them, I'll let you think about it and look for yourselves otherwise this article will be 20 pages long.

Don't forget to sort the ones you don't reuse by placing them in the recycling bin.

6. Bikes

Piled up in the back of the garage, our old bikes seems quite useless to us. Before cracking up and making a round trip to the recycling center, know that there are other possibilities.

Lovers of recycled works of art, you can dismantle your bikes and let your imagination run wild. This can result in a nice design and original stool!

If homemade recycling leaves you cold, go to specialized places that offer you to take back your old bikes for free. Depending on their condition, the bikes will undergo different treatments:

. disassembly and recovery of spare parts

. refurbishment for resale at a low price

. use in bike repair training workshops.
