A bathroom is no longer a purely functional space, but increasingly a space where you can relax and unwind. Natural materials and warm, soothing colors help with this.
In the bathroom, the standard choice is no longer for a contrast between high-gloss white and often matt dark grey, but warm and deep colors are increasingly common. The luxury is reflected in the use of alternatives to commonly used wall or floor tiles, such as materials with the appearance of wood. For example, there are both ceramic (ceramic parquet) and PVC tiles that can be used in various places in the bathroom, even in the shower. But not everyone dares to opt for trend-sensitive elements in the bathroom. Because they are afraid that they themselves will get tired of it after a while, or that it will deter interested parties in a possible future sale of the house. A good solution is to opt for a timeless bathroom and to determine the atmosphere by means of accessories.
