A bouquet of flowers for every season

Flowers make people happier, happier and more helpful. They are the sun, food and medicine for the soul. So it's no wonder that cut flowers are so popular. We present here the most beautiful bouquets of flowers for every season. From pastel meadow bouquets for spring to ostentatious flower power and “Indian Summer” bouquets to festive rose compositions for winter – you'll find ideas, inspiration and suggestions here.

Wake up nicely in spring with pastel shades

There's nothing like celebrating the arrival of the first rays of sunshine with fresh flowers. Especially pastel shades, reminiscent of sorbets and fruity ice cream, arouse the sense of spring. Cheerful chrysanthemums and lisianthus give the interior a fresh look like the awakening of spring.

The Lisianthus is a particularly beautiful spring flower with its fine and filigree flower heads. With its long stems, it is best left loose in a vase. Reminiscent of a bouquet freshly picked from the meadow, it spreads a spring-like, light flair. It becomes more lush with the chrysanthemum. Hardly any other flower is so diverse in shape and color. In combination with fresh eucalyptus, it becomes a visual eye-catcher and at the same time exudes a pleasant scent that welcomes spring.

Flower color strength in summer

Summer flowers such as gerberas and alstroemeria bring cheerfulness to your own four walls thanks to their brightly colored flowers. The colorful flowers, which can be put together in the wildest combinations, put you in a good mood and shine with the summer sun.

In the hottest season of the year, it can be bold and vigorous. The gerbera is ideal for unconventionally composed bouquets, as it is available in pure yellow, red, pink or orange. Mixed with blossoms in pink or purple, the result is an energetic play of colors that does justice to the summer. The alstroemery is also powerful. The petals of the “Inca Lily” open slowly at first and then reveal a fiery inner life with flame-like leaf markings. The color combinations look a bit softer – but that doesn't make them any less summery.

Warm fall colors

Do you want to bring autumn within your own four walls? This project is very easy with floral arrangements in warm colors. Under the motto "Indian Summer", a bouquet mix of yellow and orange dahlias creates an autumn atmosphere. The warm colors are reminiscent of the leaves that fall in autumn and bring the play of colors into the apartment.

A lovingly composed bouquet of roses, calla, gerbera and pincushion protea in various shades of red and orange achieves a similar effect. Especially in autumn, when the days get shorter again, the soothing colors come into their own and let slowly fading memories of summer and the sun's rays come back to life.

Winter bouquet with cheerful flowers

On gray winter days, expressive flower arrangements provide the necessary beacon. Lush bouquets of roses, lisianthus and orchids in rich berries and delicate pinks are especially popular in the dark season and bring warmth to the home. To create the extravagant look, flowers with particularly long stems and oversized flower heads should be used. Arranged at different heights, the bouquet looks voluminous and deserves the most prominent place in the living room.

Care Tips

To ensure that the bouquets look fresh for as long as possible, a few simple things must be observed. Before the flowers are placed in the vase, the stems are cut – preferably with a sharp knife or secateurs. Cut flowers with a hard stem, such as roses, are cut at an angle because the larger cutting surface allows them to absorb more water. However, flowers with a softer stem, such as tulips, gerberas or lilies, are cut straight. Since the interface closes again after a while, the flowers have to be cut again every few days. This is also the ideal time to change the water in the vase.

The arrangement of the bouquet also plays an important role in ensuring long-lasting freshness. The bouquet should be protected from direct sunlight, but brightness is important. Also make sure there are no drafts. The flowers feel best in a partially shaded, slightly cool spot.
