For the storage of my papers, I had the idea of creating a designer rainbow drawer that gives character to my decoration while giving it color. Today I would like to share this tutorial so that you can do the same at home. First, start by choosing a
weekly-type piece of furniture, preferably made of wood. Remove the drawers then clean and sand them. Do the same for the cabinet.
Apply burgundy acrylic paint to the body of your furniture. Choose a color gradient then apply the acrylic paint on each drawer so as to obtain a rainbow. You also need to paint the inside. For the rest, you must take the dimensions of the interior of the drawers then cut rectangles in burgundy velvet that does not fray. Then place the velvet rectangles in the drawers and glue them.
At home, I have a designer rocking chair that sits in the middle of my bedroom, which I made myself. To create it, I first had to equip myself with solid wooden panels with a dimension of 100x14x3 cm. I redesigned them to have rocker feet. Using a jigsaw, I cut out the legs of my rocking chair previously traced on the wooden panels.
After the sanding stage, I started repainting the legs using a spray system which is faster and gives a better quality finish. Then I placed a fairly light chair on the legs and then I marked it with a pencil. Equipped with my screwdriver drill, I made a hole 2 cm deep and 8 mm wide. Finally, I screwed the chair to the legs. Do you think your living room lacks color? By installing personalized candles, you will create a cozy and modern atmosphere. A certain number of utensils and materials are necessary for this realization, namely candles, artificial flowers, colored sand, a flat container, a glass tealight holder, a white felt and a mini slate. Start by taking the container and pouring the sand into it, which must be well distributed.
