What is vinegar?

At fruit vinegar the vinegar is formed by naturally fermenting apple juice or grape juice, for example, so that alcohol is created. By letting this apple cider or wine come into contact with air, the naturally present acetic acid bacteria (which is transferred by fruit flies) then ensures that the alcohol is converted into acetic acid. All traces, minerals and salts of the initial product are still in the fruit vinegar. Finally, when the vinegar is ready, it is filtered.

Natural vinegar , also called brandy vinegar, has a neutral taste and is made from sugars and water and therefore a lot cheaper.

Synthetic or artificial vinegar  is not recommended, because it is bad for your health in the long run. This can be used for cleaning.
