For us, such a Christmas tree with village would be a solution. We have a pretty extensive Christmas village (my hubby absolutely loves it) and a Christmas tree, but we are always trying to figure out where to put something. I don't know if the above is actually a cat climbing furniture, but it gave me that idea. You can easily turn such a cat climbing furniture into a great Christmas village. With some green you decorate the shelves where the cat normally sits and in fact you have the same idea. Admittedly, it's not really a Christmas village in a Christmas tree, but I think it's beautiful! I found this example here.
