Insects get in everywhere, even (and especially) in flour !
Result, when I want to use flour, there is really everything, and in particular small brown insects or even food moths.
yuck! I have to throw away my open packet of flour. And I don't like wasting...
Neither do you, I imagine. Fortunately, my grandmother gave me an infallible trick to preserve flour from insects.
The trick is to put cloves in the open packet of flour.
1. Take about ten cloves.
2. Place them in the open package.
3. Reseal the package as well as possible.
There you go, your flour is protected from insects :-)
Cloves will scare them away.
This grandmother's trick is effective against food moths, beetles, beetles and generally all insects that invade foodstuffs.
