Use baking soda to whiten laundry.
This is my surefire trick to make white laundry look like new!
Here is my grandmother's technique for reviving the white of my laundry and removing the yellowness:
1. Put white t-shirts, white sheets, sports socks in the washing machine.
2. Run a wash as usual.
3. At the time of the last rinse, add 300 g of baking soda to the detergent drawer.
There you go, your laundry has regained all its whiteness :-)
The effect is almost immediate, my laundry is already almost back to its original whiteness.
You now know how to use baking soda to whiten clothes! Easy, right?
It is very effective for removing the grayness of white linen, making a kimono white or whitening fine lingerie or whitening sheets for example.
Even if I notice a noticeable improvement in the color of my clothes from the first wash, I don't hesitate to put more baking soda on the next wash, with the same clothes.
I know that afterwards, this whiteness will last several months, before I have to start again.
A whitening product in supermarkets, it costs you from 6 to 10 €. Bicarbonate, we find around 5 € , in packs of 1 kg.
You have it for longer and for less! It makes all the difference.
