Why does it work?

Black soap is greasy.

Once deposited on the pests, it sticks them and suffocates them in a few hours.

It also dries them out:the aphids then fall to the ground.

If you are looking for other natural insecticides against aphids, here are 6 plants that are effective.

Precautions

- Treat the whole plant well, even under the foliage.

- Choose a natural black soap without additives. Otherwise the "natural" and organic effect would no longer be preserved.

- Do not overdose the black soap, it will also suffocate the plant.

- Leave the black soap anti-aphid product to act for at least 45 minutes. But do not hesitate to rinse the flower buds, young shoots or young leaves with clear water. Especially if the plant is in full sun, as the product can burn fragile plants.

- Black soap is not infallible and leaves survivors. Feel free to crush them with your fingers. Just pinch the stem or leaf and let your fingers glide crushing the aphids.
