5 tips for hygge moments at home

It's not for nothing that people say they feel best at home. Here you can put on comfortable, feel-good clothes and consciously take time for yourself:meditate, cook your favorite dish or take a warm bath. Consciously keeping track of time is becoming increasingly important. In Denmark there is even a separate term for well-being within your own walls:“Hygge”. Plants not only make your own home more comfortable, they can even have a positive effect on health. You can conveniently plant so-called superfoods such as cress, mint or sunflower seeds in your own garden, on the balcony or even on the windowsill. The harvest not only has a high content of vitamins and minerals, but also tastes very good, e.g. as a topping for salads, bowls and smoothies. In times when we are usually at home, urban gardening is the ideal activity against boredom and with a long-lasting effect.

2. Take a deep breath:Breathing exercises as an anti-stress measure

The best way to relax for a few minutes after a stressful day is to breathe consciously. It's very easy:sitting or lying down, put your hand on your stomach and take a deep breath through your nose, hold your breath for three seconds and slowly exhale through your mouth. Do 10-20 reps.

Did you know that looking at fresh flowers releases a real shower of endorphins? According to research, happiness increases by 200 percent with your personal favorite flowers.
