Zoom on the gardener's clothes

Until now, to do your little gardening work, you were content to wear old jeans and old shirts. And how about investing in real gardener clothes, just like the real garden professionals. After purchasing the tools and accessories, equip yourself properly, from a clothing point of view!

But where do you buy these outfits?

To practice my favorite activity, namely gardening, I did not just acquire the necessary tools and equipment. A few weeks ago, I simply treated myself to the complete outfit of the perfect gardener. What's more, I didn't buy it in just any store, since I shopped at Engelbert Strauss.

They have just delivered to me the two overalls I ordered. And I really have nothing to complain about in terms of their very ergonomic cut, as well as their great comfort. I am perfectly at ease in my actions and gestures. Otherwise, I really appreciate the adjustable straps and the presence of many pockets to store and have my small tools at hand. And most importantly, thanks to the ventilation zippers, I don't die of heat in it. No more big sweating problems in summer.

Moreover, the overalls are also available in models for women, with a wide choice of colors. Brown, royal blue, black, graphite, or white… Of course I fell for the green. As you have understood, when it comes to gardening clothing, the web is the best place to find outfits offering good value for money. As for me, I can only recommend this shop.

What is proper attire for a gardener?

I'm sure for many of you, investing in clothes for gardening may seem superfluous, or even not necessary at all, as this activity is rather messy. However, the objective here is to provide you with maximum comfort, especially when you spend a lot of your time outdoors. The outfit will of course be chosen according to the climate of your region. I let myself be tempted by the "forest overalls" because the garden, for me, is a lot of time spent, both for cultivating and also for tinkering.

However, I also have a simple cotton gardener's apron which also does the job perfectly, especially for quick and occasional small jobs such as repotting indoor plants for example. With this, you can wipe your hands on it without worrying about staining your clothes. However, only buy models with a front pocket. It is very practical to slip pruning shears, links, labels and others. But summer is also synonymous with sunshine and high temperatures. Don't forget your hats. Otherwise, you simply risk sunstroke. Otherwise, on your feet, old sneakers will be more than enough unless you use a brushcutter or chainsaw.

And winter? In winter, not only is it very cold, the ground freezes, but it also becomes impossible to plant anything there. Even if few people do gardening in winter, even if you still want to go outside, I advise you to put on your clothes a jumpsuit, or even pants and a landscaper's vest. And don't forget the thick lined hat and gloves to protect your hands from frostbite.
