Not easy to properly clean a decanter.
Especially if it is a decanter... The bottom is impossible to reach.
But have you thought about salt?
This natural trick restores all its radiance. Watch:
1. Pour 2 large tablespoons of coarse salt into 1 carafe.
2. Add a splash of water.
3. Shake it in all directions for a few minutes.
4 . Rinse with very hot water.
5 . Let the carafe drain without wiping it.
There you go, your carafe is now perfectly clean :-)
Simple, fast and effective!
No more traces at the bottom of the carafe! It's still cleaner that way, isn't it?
You can also add 2 tablespoons of white vinegar to the mixture.
And if your carafe does not close, it does not matter. You can seal it with cling film wrapped in a rubber band.
Be careful not to do this trick every day, you could scratch your carafe!
