Here is a very simple and natural trick that will solve this problem.
All you need is a coffee filter. Watch:

1. Place the coffee filter at the bottom of the empty flower pot.
2. Fill it with soil.
3. Put your plant there.
4. Water it.
And that's it, the soil of your plant will not escape through the hole of the pot :-)
The coffee filter made it possible to plug the hole and retain the soil permanently.
The coffee filter, which is for food use, has no adverse effect on soil and irrigation water.
