1. Clean fruit stains. Sprinkle fresh fruit stain with salt and scrub. Then machine wash normally.

2. Remove mildew stains. To remove mildew stains, rub with salt and buttermilk, then let dry in the sun.

3. Clean wine stains. If you spill wine on your tablecloth, immediately pour salt to absorb the stain. Then machine wash normally.

4. Erase traces on a wooden table. Have your hot cups discolored the wood of your table? Mix salt and olive oil to make a paste. Apply it to discolored spots and leave on for about an hour, then wipe off with a soft cloth.
