Is your sponge full of grease?
Normal, it often happens by cleaning the pans with it.
Result, it is super dirty and it stinks... yuck!
But don't throw it away right away!
Fortunately, my grandmother gave me her magic trick to clean and disinfect a greasy sponge.
The trick is to soak it in white vinegar overnight . Watch:
1. Pour a liter of lukewarm water into a container.
2. Add two tablespoons of white vinegar.
3. Immerse the sponge in this vinegar water bath.
4. Let it soak overnight.
5. Rinse it.
6. Let it dry.
There you go, your sponge is now all clean and disinfected :-)
Simple, effective and economical, right?
No more smelly and dirty sponges!
