TuinIdee 2019: Launch Your Gardening Season with Eco-Friendly Inspiration

From February 21 to 24, 2019, TuinIdee returns to Brabanthallen in 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands, signaling the start of the gardening season. As the country's largest garden event, this edition spotlights ecological and sustainable practices. Draw inspiration from showcases like the children's garden, luxury designs, compact m² gardens, and balcony setups. With over 25,000 annual visitors, it's the premier destination for gardening enthusiasts seeking fresh ideas.

TuinIdee 2019 features five stunning inspirational gardens spanning the area of two football fields across various halls, each with a refreshed design. Start in the grand entrance hall with Green Welcome, then explore the Healthy Garden, Maintenance-Friendly Garden, Children's Garden, and Postage Stamp Garden—perfect for small-space living. These contemporary spaces emphasize natural play, vegetable growing, and eco-conscious maintenance, ideal for any garden, balcony, or terrace owner.

The event revolves around three key themes: Your Oasis, The Outdoors, and Doing Green. Each hall immerses visitors in its theme through breathtaking gardens, expert exhibitors, innovative tools, and unique products. Consult garden masters for personalized advice, browse the green market for decor, accessories, and gourmet treats, or get a free garden sketch at the Tuinatelier. Engage in creative workshops or catch insightful presentations in the Tuintheater—for a day packed with green inspiration.

TuinIdee opens daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday, February 21 through Sunday, February 24, 2019. Tickets are €12 online in advance or €16.50 at the door; children under 12 enter free with an adult. Visit tuinidee.nl for details and tickets.
