Lane-Keeping Aid, featured in many new Ford vehicles, uses advanced camera systems to monitor road markings. If the driver drifts, it applies subtle steering corrections to keep the car safely between the lines, preventing unintentional lane departures.
Drawing directly from this proven technology, the Lane-Keeping Bed employs pressure sensors to detect when a sleeper crosses into the other half. An integrated conveyor belt then gently rolls them back to their designated side.
This clever prototype is part of Ford's Interventions series, repurposing automotive engineering to tackle everyday challenges—like bedtime turf wars.
