At Comment Économiser, we talk a lot about the virtues of baking soda or vinegar White.

But other natural products exist.

Among these is hydrogen peroxide, used by our grandmothers as a bleaching agent.

And it's not without reason.

Because its benefits are numerous.

Hydrogen peroxide looks the same as water but is slightly more viscous. It is also colorless.

We know its disinfectant role for small wounds...

Or as a treatment for acne pimples on the face.

But did you know that it also has oxidizing properties.

It will therefore be used to whiten teeth or laundry, but also as a bleach or as a disinfectant.

Let's detail some possible uses of hydrogen peroxide.

1. Have whiter teeth

The use of hydrogen peroxide to whiten teeth is a classic.

To have brilliantly white teeth, we have already recommended baking soda that you can supplement with hydrogen peroxide...

Or separately!

How to use hydrogen peroxide to whiten teeth?

It's easy!

To get teeth whitening, clean your teeth with hydrogen peroxide.

Simply pour hydrogen peroxide on your toothbrush.

Then, brush your teeth with baking soda or your usual toothpaste.

For my part, I use both at the same time for effective whitening. In my opinion, it is the most effective.

To apply hydrogen peroxide, it is not difficult. Just brush your teeth with hydrogen peroxide.

I soak my toothbrush in hydrogen peroxide on which I then pour a little baking soda.

Brushing your teeth with a bicarbonate+hydrogen peroxide mixture is very effective.

Good to know, some people use lemon instead of hydrogen peroxide for teeth whitening.

But, whatever the method chosen, brushing of this type two to three times a week is enough to whiten the teeth.

Otherwise these tricks represent a danger for the enamel of your teeth.

But don't worry!

You will quickly see the difference on your teeth before and after using hydrogen peroxide.

Because hydrogen peroxide attacks tartar and eliminates brown marks. No need to go to the dentist!

You may be wondering which hydrogen peroxide to whiten your teeth?

As "toothpaste", hydrogen peroxide must be at 10 volumes.

2. Make a french manicure

For a successful French manicure, hydrogen peroxide is very useful. It will whiten your yellowed nails.

To do this, soak your nails in warm water to soften them.

Then, use a cotton swab or cotton swab soaked in hydrogen peroxide that you pass under your fingernails.

You will be able to do a manicure yourself and regain the whiteness of the tips of your nails.

Hydrogen peroxide will bleach the nails. It is an effective trick to whiten nails quickly and naturally.

And you will have beautiful nails even without varnish!

3. Lighten your hair and body hair

Hydrogen peroxide is also used for hair discoloration by hairdressers.

On your side, it can be used to bleach the unpleasant down that can be found above the mouth, at the bottom of the belly...

Or elsewhere!

For that, it's the same operation.

A little cotton that you dip in hydrogen peroxide and pass over the part to be bleached.

The effect of hydrogen peroxide is immediate.

This avoids having to shave at the risk of the hair growing back even thicker.

Always with cotton and hydrogen peroxide, you can also disinfect wounds or a cut.

4. Whiten your clothes

And a last trick that can be done with hydrogen peroxide is the bleaching of clothes.

Either you want to whiten a tarnished and yellowed garment, pour half a bottle of hydrogen peroxide into a tub of hot water.

Let it soak for at least a day.

Do you want to get rid of occasional pen, blood or other stains on your clothes?

So, proceed as already explained above with cotton that you have previously soaked in hydrogen peroxide.
