What do you think about Christmas-decoration?

You can use Christmas decoration in different areas, I'll give you a few examples:

  • As mentioned, the Christmas lights outside
  • Lights and candles inside
  • Christmas decoration in the form of a nativity scene under your tree
  • A Christmas village somewhere in your room
  • the baubles and frills in your Christmas tree
  • Christmas socks at the fireplace (we also have)
  • beautiful Christmas cushions in your sofa or a special plaid
  • a cozy Christmas piece on the table
  • beautiful decoration in your windowsills

Christmas-decoration in all colors and types

In the past, Christmas decorations were mainly available in red and gold. That time is over! Nowadays you can buy Christmas balls in all colors of the rainbow. And by the way, not only colors are hip… Black and white Christmas decorations are also very popular. And I don't mind that at all! I myself am a black-white-gold-silver type and the Christmas tree also has shades of blue. But I also find all those different colors attractive, hard to choose!

Black-and-white Christmas-decoration, i love it!

Black and white is in any case a style that has become an indispensable part of the interior and I think it is beautiful as a basis. You can also easily combine with other shades. For example, in the summer I add some cooler shades and in the winter, for example, ocher yellow or deep sea green.

When I saw these candles from Zoedt I fell in love immediately. For the time being I have put them down with some nice Christmas trees in between and a nice candy cane (see how long it stays). What do you think about it? Black and white Christmas decoration turns out to be very beautiful and certainly cozy! By the way, if you don't just want the nice Christmas decoration at home, but also want to wrap your presents in a Christmassy way, Zoedt is also the right place, check out these stickers and stationary!

You can find Zoedt's candles here

Besides the fact that you can of course buy a lot of Christmas decorations, you can also easily get started yourself.

Some glass bottles, a Christmas twig here and there and a candle above it and you're done. Beautiful, basic and yet very Christmassy!

Golden Christmas-decoration always stays in

It will probably remain a perennial Christmas trend:gold. Golden Christmas decorations are therefore not that difficult to find. For example, check out the Xenos for those nice snowballs with gold as below or hang golden Christmas balls from Hema in your tree.

And, if you also liked the previous style… Gold also combines well with black and white decorations. A bonus:your Christmas decorations will probably never go out of style if they are made of gold!

Personal baubles are 'on trend'

And while we are talking about black and white and gold, I would also like to point out these very nice personal Christmas balls with a photo of Wanapix. You can of course have them made the way you want, because they can be personalized, but this match of gold-white-black and red is super cute so I don't want to withhold it from you.

Would you like to have a Christmas bauble with a photo and name printed yourself? You can do that here.

Wooden-decorations for Christmas

Is all that tinsel not for you and are you more the natural type? Then wooden Christmas decorations might suit you better. Wood is a material that has a warm appearance anyway, so cosiness during these dark days is easy to create with some wood. I also have those tea light holders you see above 😉 .

Wood is extremely popular in the interior and you will also see it a lot in the Christmas trends. I liked the clothespins above (so cute) on the Xenos and the wooden streamers on the Hema. You will also find many pendants for the tree, or how about a Christmas card rack like the one below?

Christmas-decoration with a wink for a great Christmas

If all those 'standard' Christmas decorations are not quite your thing, you can also go for decorations with a big wink. You see more and more these days. There is plenty of choice when it comes to nice and striking Christmas decorations for the Christmas tree, for example. You can't think of it that crazy, or it can go up the tree. Can you match your tree in your ugly Christmas sweater 😉 .

You can 'just' find the above Christmas baubles at the Hema and the Xenos, hang your tree full with them and I'm sure you have to smile every time you see it!

Christmas-twigs on the table as Christmas-decoration

If you don't like a Christmas decoration at home, or if you don't feel like having a whole Christmas tree in your house at all, you can also go for these beautiful Christmas branches. You can create a cozy Christmas atmosphere at home in no time.

And don't forget the Christmas-cards!

Is your house ready, with all the Christmas decorations? Don't forget the Christmas cards! More and more people find it a bit of a hassle to send all those cards. But of course it's a nice way to send people your best wishes. Nice to make them yourself -with some Christmas decorations-, but very understandable if you can't find the time for it after decorating your house 😉 .

But sending them can of course be a bit easier these days than in the past and it is also very handy that you no longer need to have stamps in stock! We recommend the Christmas cards from Greetz, where you can also design your own Christmas card yourself. The Christmas cards from the Blond Amsterdam, Babette Harms (image) and Paperclip collections are also fun (and even less time-consuming).

Happy Holidays!
