Erwin refurbished an existing TV stand using concrete ciré for that authentic industrial vibe—you can do the same or build from scratch. The result? A stunning, custom industrial TV cabinet that perfectly complements modern interiors. See the dramatic before-and-after for yourself.

After hunting for the perfect industrial TV stand and finding sky-high prices, Nathalie and Erwin opted for a smart DIY fix. Their existing unit fit the space but lacked the robust style of their wooden coffee table. Concrete ciré to the rescue!
Erwin mixed the ready-to-use concrete ciré in their chosen color and applied a rough first coat with a trowel and angle trowel for crisp corners—no perfection needed yet, just bold strokes. Let it dry, then sand smooth. (Expect raised eyebrows mid-project—Erwin's mom was stunned! 😊)
The second layer demands precision: apply thinly, perfect corners, and use a scraping technique for that signature textured depth and color variation. Brush-touch imperfections, then seal with an epoxy topcoat for lasting protection—skip it, and your hard work fades fast.
Post-ciré, the doors won't align—trim them to fit with a saw. Sand smooth with the grain to reveal the natural tone, which beautifully matches the new finish. Stunning synergy!
