Internet users share the ugliest objects owned by their parents

Trends in interior decoration are changing significantly:pastel colors (big up the apricot color), friezes or the trinkets of our parents or grandparents have given way to homes with minimalist ornamentation and tones neutrals. The older generations (we don't want to offend anyone, we promise) generally don't care about emerging fashions, which is why they tend to keep their furniture for decades... which amuses the younger ones, as shown by a recent Twitter conservation. A network user named Jenn issued a "challenge" to Internet users:"Show me the ugliest things in your parents' house “, she wrote on her account. In a few days, she received thousands of responses which indeed include pictures of garbage or unidentified objects of all kinds. Little anthology!

Collections of clowns… and eggs

We thus find the sculpture of a wooden goose which seems to be watching the shoes near the front door, a bust supposed to represent Elvis Presley (we see more of a manga character there... But why not), a collection of clowns put under glass (do you also hear that "NO WAY" ringing in your head?), a painting representing an eagle that turns into a fighter plane (WTF?!), a flower pot with the effigy a turtle with imposing incisors (and another in the shape of…overalls), the giant statue of a penguin, the faces of knitted characters locked in a jar or even a room reserved for storing decorated eggs. Ok, we admit that we were far from suspecting the existence of a large part of these things... In the creepy category, we would like to share with you a black mask with blurred attributes worthy of a horror movie or again the bathroom on the themes of hunting and fishing, with a net hung on the wall and stuffed deer heads placed everywhere. That's enough to make you want to go visit your grandparents, whose decor isn't as kitsch as we thought, after all...
