In your home, a terrarium adds beauty and charm, creating a captivating miniature indoor garden. But keeping it lush requires specific care for its moss, soil, and succulents. Inside the glass enclosure, temperature and humidity are key. As seasoned plant enthusiasts, we've mastered the simple trick to ensure your terrarium flourishes.
A terrarium thrives in a sealed, humid environment, so keep the lid on as much as possible. For optimal growth, position it in a bright spot—up to a meter from a window in winter—to support photosynthesis.
The real secret? Watering! Mist your glass forest once a week in winter and 2-3 times weekly in summer. Check the moss: dark green means it's hydrated; pale or whitish signals it's thirsty. A bit of condensation on the glass is normal—plants release moisture through transpiration, cycling water, CO2, and oxygen.
