Esteemed Dutch tulip growers welcome everyone to pick a free bunch of tulips from a specially designed picking garden, located right in front of the Royal Palace on Dam Square. This year's theme, 'Flowerpower,' comes alive in the vibrant, colorful garden layout.
Experience the uplifting 'flower power' and unifying charm of tulips at Dam Square on National Tulip Day. Visitors can pick from about 200,000 tulips, bringing a joyful spring vibe home. Before the garden opens, marvel at the vast sea of flowers from a dedicated viewing bridge. At 1:00 PM, a special guest will officially open the garden, allowing the public to enter and select a bunch of 20 tulips. The picking garden is expected to stay open until 5:00 PM (while supplies last).
