5 tips for sitting outside in the summer

This summer, too, there will be plenty of sunny days:enjoy the sun for hours outside. Even in the evening when it cools down, it is still very nice to enjoy a snack and drink. So open the sliding doors, enjoy the sun and use these handy tips to be able to sit outside for a long time this summer!

1. Have a pergola installed
A pergola is a covering that you have installed on your house. There is a huge choice between different pergolas, there is always something for your garden too. Whether you want a small or a large pergola:you are guaranteed to be nice and dry and with a little luck also out of the wind. A sliding door to the backyard makes it complete! A pergola also increases the value of your home. Is that a nice bonus?

2. Provide a heat source
During the day it is nice and warm if you sit outside in the sun, but as soon as it cools down in the evening you don't want to go back inside. Provide a good heat source, so that you can enjoy a good book and a glass of wine long into the evening. Think of a fire pit or wood stove or purchase a patio heater to enjoy optimally.

3. Keep yourself warm with a fleece blanket
In addition to a patio heater or a fire, there are of course plenty of other ways to keep yourself warm. Place some fleece blankets on the chairs outside so that you can immediately throw a blanket around you as soon as it cools down.

4. Provide cover
Is the installation of a pergola not in the budget? Then look for another form of cover. With a little dexterity you can make a nice roof or a nice shelter yourself. That way you spend a little less money and you are still nice and dry. Is that also a bit too much of a good thing? Then place a wind screen or sun cloth so that you are at least out of the wind and covered.

5. Purchase nice plants
The more plants you have in your garden and on your patio, the cozier it gets. In addition to the cozy appearance, plants ensure that you are sheltered and that the wind in your garden is a lot less cold.
