Here it comes again—peach leaf curl, with its striking red marbling. While visually striking, it signals either missed fall leaf drop or pre-bud treatments, or a highly susceptible variety. At this stage, the best action is to remove and burn affected leaves promptly. Bordeaux mixture won't help once symptoms appear.
For damage control, experienced growers recommend spraying horsetail manure tea. This natural remedy also works well for pear tree diseases, where leaves can't tolerate copper-based Bordeaux mixture.
