Choose your favorite pieces of art, making sure the images are simple enough to work as an embroidery pattern. If the images are large, you can take an image (or scan) and reduce it, or blow it up to size.
Next, place the napkin on a hard surface and place the tracing paper on top, followed by the illustration. Without moving the paper, trace the outline of the work with a pen or pencil. The pattern will transfer to the napkin.
