DIY Personalized Thank You Cards for Wedding Guests: A Simple Guide
Materials and Tools:
- Transparent flat bags (to fit the card)
- 4"x6" folded card
- 3"x5" flat card
- 8" piece of ribbon
- Pewter charm (meaningful to the bride and groom)
- Hole punch (small diameter)
- Glue stick
Directions:
- Print the bride and groom's initials at the bottom of the 3"x5" flat card.
- Print or handwrite a thank you message inside the 4"x6" folded card. Consider adding a note about the charm's meaning—for an Irish wedding, a four-leaf clover works beautifully; for a winery celebration, a grape cluster charm adds charm.
- Glue the flat card centered on the front flap of the folded card. Punch two holes about 1/4" apart and 1/2" from the top, through both layers. Use standard round punches or a ribbon lace punch for slots.
- Thread the ribbon through the holes to attach the smaller card to the larger one, then tie on the charm. Trim ribbon ends.
- Slide the assembled card into a transparent flat bag and seal the back.
