The trampoline is indeed an original, attractive and evolving game, because children can over time train to perform various jumps and technical figures. It is therefore a hobby, but which can become a sport, providing lots of thrills!

The trampoline, a good hobby for your health!

According to a NASA study, 10 minutes of trampolining is equivalent to 30 minutes of running! Indeed, the trampoline works all the muscles of the body. It is good for the heart, by increasing blood circulation and oxygenation and develops the tone of all the muscles, especially the legs. It also improves balance, coordination of movements, synchronization. It helps children to acquire good self-confidence, giving a sense of freedom, and it is also a very good tool for psychomotor development.

Safety conditions to follow to enjoy your trampoline

However, the trampoline can be dangerous if some basic safety instructions are not followed. The trampoline must first be installed on a clear surface, both around the edge and above. For better safety, and especially if the children are young, it is essential to choose a trampoline with a safety net. This prevents falls over ledges, which can be dangerous. Likewise, if the family still has young children, it is advisable to install a safety skirt, a net that prevents access under the jumping mat. It is imperative not to authorize the presence of more than one person at the same time on the trampoline. Certainly, it is very funny to jump with a friend, but the risks of collisions are important, as well as those of falling on the ground if the trampoline does not have a protective net.

Choose a trampoline adapted to its use

The choice of trampoline should be adapted to the number and age of users. A large trampoline is ideal for everyone since older people can try out different tricks (spins, sit-ups or belly jumps) and the little ones, who are less skilful, will be less likely to bump into the edges. Prefer a round trampoline that offers a maximum jumping surface and above all choose a trampoline that complies with current safety standards (hot-dip galvanized steel, anti-corrosion treatment, anti-UV treated canvas and tarpaulin, etc.). It is advisable to secure the trampoline with a fixing kit, but you can also choose to have a semi-buried trampoline.

Protected against bad weather by a tarpaulin, the trampoline can remain outside and several models are guaranteed for ten years. However, it is advisable to check the quality of the springs each season and possibly change some if they are too stretched. The protective foam around the entire perimeter of the trampoline must be well maintained, not torn and in good condition. It is in fact the one who will avoid falling on the springs or the metal bars of the structure.
