Note that vinegar contains 8% acetic acid—the key active ingredient—which also affects soil microorganisms. While some apply undiluted vinegar, I recommend starting diluted to minimize soil acidification. For best results, spray in full sun. Adding a bit of black soap or whole milk acts as a wetting agent, helping the solution cling to foliage.
Always thoroughly clean your sprayer after each use to prevent clogs and residue buildup.
