In disposable cups, mix the plaster per the manufacturer's instructions—typically two parts plaster to one part water.

Stir thoroughly, then blend in tempera paint. For brighter colors, use slightly less water.

Spray the molds with cooking spray as a release agent for easy removal.

Pour one color at a time. Wipe spills for clean lines between colors.

Layer colors to the top, then insert popsicle sticks. Work quickly before the plaster sets.
