Learn to craft enchanting mini fairy garden-style Easter eggs using papier-mâché eggs, tiny figurines, and a touch of glitter—no sugar required. These whimsical decorations are perfect for spring celebrations.
Supplies you'll need:
Trace an oval shape on one side of the egg—this will be your viewing window.
Carefully cut out the oval using a craft knife or a drill with a cutting attachment.
Smooth any rough edges with your craft knife for a clean finish.
Apply white paint inside and outside the egg. Allow it to dry completely for a smooth base.
Work with a mix of egg sizes for visual interest.
Paint the egg interiors with bright, reflective colors to enhance the sparkle.
Brush craft glue inside the eggs, sprinkle on glitter while wet, shake off excess, and let dry fully.
Gather miniatures, fake flowers, pom-poms, and other decor for your scenes.
Secure elements inside with hot glue to build charming Easter vignettes. Decorate exteriors with faux moss, yarn, pom-poms, and paint.
Display your creations in egg cups. This kid-friendly project works great with a low-temperature hot glue gun.
