As seasoned horticulturists with years of experience nurturing bulbous plants like tulips, hyacinths, crocuses, and daffodils, we recommend allowing them to rebuild their energy reserves stored in the bulb. Deadhead the spent flowers and keep watering regularly. For potted plants, transplant into the garden and continue care until the leaves yellow and dry. Leave the bulbs in place to enjoy fresh blooms next season. Note that over a few years, flowers may become smaller and paler unless using botanical species, which naturalize and multiply reliably.
