wilted hyacinth

Question from a blogger:What do I do with my faded hyacinth?

All bulbous plants, tulips, hyacinths, crocuses, daffodils... must redo their reserve , which they place in their bulb. To do this, cut off the faded flowers and continue watering. If the plants are potted, plant them in the garden and continue tending until the leaves are dry. So leave the plant in place and next year admire the new flowers. But within a few years the plant will have degenerated and the flowers will be smaller and sometimes paler in color. Only botanical species manage to naturalize and multiply.
