Draw a cloud shape on felt—horizontal shapes look best. Cut it out, then trace onto a second piece of felt and cut that too. These matching pieces form one cloud.

Using needle and thread, sew the shapes together along the edges, leaving a quarter-inch opening. Stuff with filling until fluffy, then sew closed. Repeat for desired number of clouds in your chosen colors.

Enhance the simple embroidery hoop with gray felt. Cut a 2-inch-wide strip along the felt's length, then fringe it by trimming every 1-1/2 inches.

Add a magical glow with LED string lights as stars. Starting about a foot from the top, wrap the lights evenly around the hoop so clouds hang straight.

Slide a light strand through the top and bottom of a cloud, then position it. Add multiple clouds per strand for interest. Twist the strands into spirals to secure everything.

For a floating effect above the crib, use clear wire and a small hook to secure to the ceiling.
