As a seasoned parent and crafting enthusiast, I've loved creating these handprint snowman ornaments with my kids each holiday season. They're a joyful way to make personalized Christmas decorations. Fill the ornament with faux snow or confetti for extra sparkle and color.

Apply a smooth, even coat of white paint to the inside of your child's palm and fingers.

Have your child gently press their painted hand onto the bottom of the ornament, holding still without sliding their fingers.

Place the ornament upside down in an egg carton to let the handprint dry completely.

Use permanent markers to draw snowman faces and shapes on the finger handprints. Add your child's name, age, or the year at the base.

Remove the ornament top, use a funnel to fill with crystal flakes or faux snow, then replace the top.

Cut a piece of ribbon and tie it securely to the ornament's top loop.

These heartfelt ornaments add whimsy to your Christmas tree and make cherished gifts for grandparents or friends.
