Cut the toes off each knee-high sock, then slice the remaining tube in half. Note: Sock length determines noodle cuts—adult socks provide more length than children's.

Use a knife to cut pool noodles 2 inches shorter than the sock sections, leaving excess sock on both ends for tying.
