Select cork in rolls or squares that fits neatly inside your embroidery hoop.

Embroidery hoops have two parts—set the outer ring (with hardware) aside. Trace a circle onto the cork using the inner ring as a guide.

Cut the cork easily with scissors. For thin cork, layer pieces and secure the circle to the back of the inner hoop with hot glue.

Stretch fabric over the front, secure with the outer hoop, trim excess, and hot glue it to the hoop and cork. Add embellishments for a personal touch.
