Measure your dog's back and cut two oval shapes from white fabric, slightly larger for a comfortable fit.

Glue the oval pieces together, leaving a four-inch opening for stuffing.

Turn the assembly upside down, stuff it firmly, then seal the hole with hot glue, tucking in the edges neatly.

Cut a heart-shaped piece from orange or pink fabric, sized to match your rice base.

Cut thin white fabric strips and hot glue them onto the fish piece for realistic veins.

Cut two small triangles from green felt to represent wasabi.

Attach the fish and wasabi pieces securely to the top of the rice base.

Measure your dog from shoulder to shoulder across the chest. Cut a two-inch-wide strip of white fabric slightly longer than this measurement, and glue it to the front corners of the rice piece.

Fit the rice base on your dog and measure around it and his belly for the nori band. Add four inches for overlap, then cut a four-inch-wide rectangle of green felt to that length. Attach four-inch Velcro segments to opposite short ends.

Glue the center of the seaweed piece to the top of the sushi assembly.

Position the chest strap over your dog's shoulders, secure the Velcro under his belly, and your furry sushi roll is Halloween-ready!
