Don t have an Envelope anymore? Use a Toilet Paper Roll to make one!

Don't throw away the cardboard roll of toilet paper! It can be used to make a very original and solid envelope on top of that!

Just imagine that everything (or almost) can be recycled, even the roll of toilet paper!

Arm yourself with a little imagination and creativity and follow me, I will teach you how to make a truly extraordinary envelope.

The material :

- A roll of toilet paper

- Paint and a brush (if you want to paint it)

- A pair of pinking scissors

- A ribbon or a few pieces of string

- A desk punch

- A stamp to decorate

5 steps are needed to make this awesome envelope, are you ready?

1. Now, let's tackle our little DIY workshop. I start by taking my roll and I fold it in half , then I crush it well.

2. Then I draw a line about 3 cm from the edge to be able to fold my envelope.

3. Oh it's starting to take shape! To be as close as possible to reality, I decided to paint my envelope with paint White. I then apply 2 coats and I let it dry.

4. It's dry ! I don't forget to put my little word of love or friendship inside. To close the envelope, I make 3 holes on each side then I bind everything with tape or string.

5. Now all I have to do is decorate it with a stamp or markers, I can draw anything that comes to mind! The result is really very original and pretty on top of that! I'm going to give it to my mom;-)

And you, do you have another idea to recycle the roll of toilet paper! Feel free to tell me about it in the comments!

Savings Achieved

An envelope is worth on average 0.20 cents in the trade, if you decide to buy twenty of them you will have to pay 4 . A small sum all the same.

With my trick, you will become a recycling pro by creating a very original envelope that will cost you nothing since it will come from your toilet paper roll.
