How to make paper garland bunting

Step 1

Create your paper shapes

Use the awl or scissors to make as many shapes as you like.

Step 2

Stitch shapes together

One by one, sew through the middle of each paper shape in a straight line to connect them into a long chain. You can leave as much slack as you like.

Step 3

Store then display

To prevent tangling, after you've sewn a few feet, wrap the piece around a piece of cardboard to store for later use (Image 1). Creating a paper garland bunting is an easy project and the possibilities are endless (Image 2).
