Transform your porch into a fall wonderland with this natural gourd topiary. Drawing from years of crafting seasonal decor, we stacked three pumpkins in a planter and adorned them with vines, greenery, baby's breath, and feathers for an authentic, lush display.

To stack the pumpkins securely, remove the stems from the bottom two or cut holes in the bottoms of the top two gourds. Paint them if desired for a custom finish.

Lay out the gourds and greenery on a painter's tarp. Starting at the base, unroll the vine, cut a piece to encircle the gourd—letting some extend from the bottom—and secure with U-pins.

Cut boxwood greenery and tuck it beneath the vine twigs, securing firmly with pins for a layered, natural effect.

Position three of the five feather bundles around the vine. Trim most of the stems with scissors, tuck the remainder between the gourd and vine, and secure with a medium-heat hot glue gun.

Snip flower pieces with their greenery, tuck them into the vine at the base, and glue in place for vibrant accents.

Add dried baby's breath to fill gaps, ensuring some trails over the urn's edge for a cascading finish.

Repeat the process on the upper two pumpkins, using lighter decoration to maintain balance and proportion.
Use the tarp as both work surface and base filler to elevate the pumpkins toward the urn's rim. Alternatives like rocks, packing peanuts, or towels work too. Position the stack so it sinks slightly into the center, hiding all edges.

Once assembled, tuck in extra flowers, feathers, or even birds to perfect the arrangement.
