Assemble the binoculars

On the uncovered end of each roll, punch two holes opposite each other. Align the rolls and thread a rubber band through the holes to join them (Image 1). Cut a long piece of string or twine and tie the ends through the outer holes to form a neck strap (Image 2). Secure the inner connection with a shorter piece of string through those holes.
