Pre-pasted wallpaper

There is an absolutely practical novelty in decoration, it is the prepasted wallpaper!

Preface:

In the history of wallpaper , we start with the paper, then we draw it, or we print it , or we engrave it, we silkscreen it, we decorate it. Then we put it on the walls, we apply it, we pin it, we tape it, we glue it . In order, in disorder, whatever happens, we decorate its interior .

When we choose to glue it, we buy glue. In pot or in powder , with a bucket, with a wooden stick (see with the kitchen spatula), we are wrong in the dosage , our fingers are full of it, we wipe it off, we drop it on the ground . And at the bottom of the bucket , there is indeed glue but also beautiful lumps .

When we put classic wallpaper, we glue the wallpaper, we wait for it to soak in, we unfold the paper, we put it on the wall, it is heavy, tear sometimes. If we choose non-woven wallpaper , we put the glue on the wall, it's much simpler. But what glue? powder, jar? What tack (if it sticks a lot or not)? Colorful to see where we apply the glue?

In the history of wallpaper, there is a revolution, something crazy. A technique absolute. THE PRE-PASTED WALLPAPER STRENGTH! OH YE! Yes, well, this wallpaper has been around since the 70s!;) But it comes back to the fore because it is really practical .

But what is it, then ? The pre-pasted wallpaper is a wallpaper printed on a support comprising on the back a dry adhesive activated, during installation, by humidification with clear water .

Pre-pasted wallpaper

We proceed in the same way to put pre-pasted wallpaper as for any other wallpaper. EXCEPT for the glue. We always need to draw a vertical line for the first strip, a level, a cutter, a smoother, etc. The ONLY real difference it's because the glue is already on the back of the paper, you just have to do "PCHIT" and basta!;)

At Scenolia, we offer the world's easiest pre-pasted wallpaper. This is OUR revolution!

Install the prepasted wallpaper:

  • 1. Drawing a vertical using a level .
  • 2. Spray over the entire pre-glued surface of the support.
  • 3. Present the visual, adjust to the line .
  • 4. Maouflage by hand or with a brush .
  • 5. Cut excess surface with a new blade.

Place the visual on a smooth, clean and dry surface. Use clean tap water. The product can be repositioned and re-aligned during the first 10 minutes. If the product does not move easily during repositioning, lift it up and apply water directly to the wall. It is possible to apply the water by spraying it on the wall rather than on the back.

It's such a simple technique that you could almost compare it to sticker! It's absolutely simple. It is clean and efficient work. Freedom!

"PCHIT" and basta!;)
