Can't find the perfect planter? Make your own with an old paint can and some paint.
Remove any labels from the outside of the can and paint the entire can. Let dry.
To create a plant marker from a paint stick, mark your paint stick in the center. Each stick can make two plant markers.
Use a hacksaw to cut through the paint stick at the spot you marked.
Paint the paint bar and let it dry.
Write the name of the plant on the painted stick with a permanent marker.
Fill the bottom of the paint can with wine corks or small rocks for drainage.
Place your plant in the can. Let the seed of upcycling take root and enjoy your new paint can planters.
