Struggling to find the perfect planter? Repurpose an old paint can with a fresh coat of paint to craft your own custom garden pot.
Remove any labels from the can's exterior and paint the entire surface. Allow it to dry fully.
To create plant markers, mark the paint stick at its center. Each stick makes two markers.
Use a hacksaw to cut the paint stick at the marked spot.
Paint the cut paint sticks and let them dry completely.
Write the plant's name on the painted stick using a permanent marker.
Fill the bottom of the paint can with wine corks or small rocks for essential drainage.
Place your plant in the can. Let the upcycling magic grow and enjoy your new paint can planters.
