Pro Tip: As an experienced jewelry maker, I always advise investing in top-quality tools before starting wire work or jewelry projects. Quality tools save time, reduce frustration, and deliver professional results.
For a 6-inch doll, measure and cut 9 inches of 12-gauge wire. Add 1/2 inch for every extra 1/2 inch of doll size.
Wrap the 20-gauge twisted wire around the 12-gauge wire to create a coil, then slide it off.
Slide on the focal stud, coiled wire sections, accent beads, and spacers along the 12-gauge wire. Gently bend to fit the doll's wrist shape.
Fit the bracelet on the doll, leaving 1-1/2 inches between ends for secure closure. Note: Add or remove elements to achieve the ideal gap.
With round-nose pliers, form an eye loop at one end. Use chain-nose pliers to bend the joint. Leave 7/8 inch at the other end, trim excess wire, form a second eye loop, and crimp securely.
For the clasp, cut a 2-1/2-inch piece of 14-gauge wire. Hammer one end to shape a small loop. Form a larger loop at the opposite end so it rests flat on a table. Open the large loop, hook it onto one bracelet eye, and close tightly.
