Using black acrylic paint, coat the crown shape evenly and let it dry. Perfect coverage isn't necessary, as the feather boa will largely conceal it.

While the paint dries, craft the eerie eyeballs. On a ping-pong ball, use a permanent marker to draw a circle with a small indentation in the center—like a Pac-Man shape—for a realistic catchlight. Fill in the pupil shape.

Select an iris color (blue, green, or brown) and trace the pupil circle with a colored marker. Add a matching notch in the iris aligned with the pupil's for a complete white sclera ring between them.

Enhance depth by layering a darker shade over the iris. For a light blue base, use navy blue to draw fine lines and markings mimicking a natural iris.

For extra spook, draw red veins with a marker, starting from the bottom of the eyeball and curving up toward the pupil and iris. Repeat until you have enough eyeballs.

Apply a dab of hot glue to a floral pin and secure it to the back of each eyeball.

Once the crown paint is dry, wrap the feather boa around it and secure with floral pins.

Using the pins on the eyeballs, attach them randomly around the crown for a chaotic, scary effect.
