First, smooth the damaged wallpaper as much as possible.
Locate a piece of wallpaper with an identical pattern and carefully tear off a patch large enough to cover the tear without exposing the underlying paper.
Lightly moisten the back of the patch to reactivate the adhesive. For non-prepasted wallpaper, apply a thin, even layer of wallpaper paste.
Align the patch precisely to blend with the surrounding pattern. Gently press it down using a damp sponge for a seamless finish.
